Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a distinguished graduate from the United States Air Force Academy in 2006, has accumulated vast experience in the military realm. Initially serving as a pilot with over 1,200 flight hours, he later shifted his focus to space operations, specializing in space-based missile warnings. Recognized for his exemplary performance, he rapidly advanced to lieutenant colonel and even received the prestigious distinguished graduate award at four distinct Air Force institutions. By October 2020, he became a commander in the US Space Force, overseeing a space-based missile warning squadron in Colorado.
In 2021, Lohmeier released his bestselling book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military”. This publication, analyzing the influence of Marxist ideology and critical race theory (CRT) within the military, led to significant consequences. While still an active-duty commander, he faced an Inspector General investigation from the Pentagon and was eventually relieved of his command due to the book’s controversy. However, this event propelled him to the national stage where he engaged with major media figures on the topics of Marxism, CRT, and their effects on the military. Shortly after, in September 2021, Lohmeier left active duty. He now thrives as a prominent speaker and consultant, emphasizing the betterment of military culture and safeguarding American liberties.
With two master’s degrees under his belt, one in military operational art and science and another in military strategy from the reputed School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS), Lohmeier possesses a deep academic foundation. Today, he resides in Idaho, sharing his life with his wife and children.
