Guests: Episodes with Bret Weinstein
Dr. Bret Weinstein, an esteemed evolutionary biologist, has dedicated over two decades to understanding large-scale patterns in human history and devising game theoretically stable solutions for humanity. With a PhD in Biology from the University of Michigan and a BA in Biology from UCSC, he has focused his research on evolutionary trade-offs, studying topics such as senescence, cancer, species diversity, and the adaptive significance of human morality and religion.
After a 14-year tenure as a professor at The Evergreen State College, Weinstein and his wife, Heather Heying, resigned following the 2017 campus riots related to their opposition to racial segregation and other college “equity” proposals. Weinstein has contributed to The Wall Street Journal, testified before the U.S. Congress on freedom of expression, and co-authored the New York Times Best Seller, A Hunter-Gatherer’s Guide to the 21st Century, with Heying. Currently, he hosts the popular Bret Weinstein’s DarkHorse Podcast.
